Dheva Mantra Resort, Kanchanaburi

The resort offers stunning surroundings and spacious rooms, but the service and cleanliness need improvement. While the restaurant serves delicious food, the breakfast could be better, and transportation to local attractions can be expensive and inconvenient.

This hotel offers a wonderful escape about 2.5 hours from Bangkok, featuring beautiful landscaped gardens and a lovely colonial building. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the unique dining experiences add charm. However, certain aspects need improvement, particularly in room cleanliness and service consistency, which slightly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

During my visit to Kanchanaburi, I stayed at the Away Resort which offers beautiful views of the River Kwai and a peaceful atmosphere. The resort provides great amenities like a spa and pool, making it a good spot for relaxation. However, the room decor was rather outdated and lacked a lively atmosphere. While I enjoyed my overall experience, I believe the hotel could enhance the dining experience and improve staff engagement.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The views from my room were absolutely stunning, and the pool area was fantastic. However, the staff's service left much to be desired, particularly in terms of friendliness and attentiveness. The dining experience could also use improvement, especially regarding the breakfast options. Overall, while there were some highlights, I expected better for a five-star establishment.
